Temporary Consultant
Clinical Enterprise:
- Develop, advise on, and support implementation of initiatives to standardize, optimize and scale operations across the clinical enterprise to drive excellence in quality and operational and financial performance.
- Prepare and present strategic opportunities to senior leadership to gain economies of scale, improve efficiencies, and position the organization for future growth.
- Supports efforts to redesign care models to optimize clinical operations across the enterprise.
- Co-lead optimization of the advanced practice provider (APP) workforce to enhance patient access and clinical efficiency.
- Partner with service line leaders to identify opportunities and optimize clinical and financial performance.
- Lead evaluation and feasibility assessment of a Unified Patient Access Center (UPAC) and support the design and implementation of referral management strategies to improve patient retention and provider engagement in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
- Drive evaluation of a systemwide consolidated Central Sterile Processing (CSP) unit to improve real estate utilization and reduce operational costs.
Provider Enterprise
Support and guide the development of the physician enterprise of the future through a pluralistic alignment model.
Drive physician integration efforts, in partnership with the appropriate executive leaders, to achieve full integration across departments and divisions.
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership to identify and execute clinical operations synergies.
Advise the Salary Management Committee and support the redesign of physical compensation strategies aligned with market trends and future needs.
Design and deploy frameworks to support pluralistic alignment of large provider groups with HFMG.
Partner with senior leaders and the system strategy team to align the provider network strategy with the system clinical plan.
Advise on organizational structure, operational models, and fiscal management strategies to support growth of HFMG.
Ambulatory Network Growth
Spearhead the “Right Care, Right Place” strategy to expand the ambulatory footprint, with a focus on ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) and access points.
Co-Lead development of ASC growth strategies, including de novo development and acquisitions.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to evaluate and design potential participation of employed physicians in Henry Ford Health ventures.
Partner with strategic planning leadership to develop capital investment plans, ROI models, proformas, and volume-shift analyses.
Partner with hospital leadership to ease the volume shift from inpatient to ambulatory sites when appropriate.
Support development of an enterprise-wide ASC management platform for operational oversight and performance management.
