EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Masters Degree and appropriate licensure in Macro Social Work or related field, which provides experience in complex program planning, and development, coordination and/or evaluation of service delivery and organizational analysis.
  • Minimum of two years experience in quality improvement required with experience assessing and tracking progress towards industry benchmarks.
  • Minimum of five years experience in health care required with specific experience in database design, data collection, and management; assessing needs of patients, staff, and programs; developing and implementing systems for process improvement; and professional writing and program development.
  • Understanding of and experience working with automated data transfer processes preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing IT Security policies, training, and processes preferred.
  • Sound decision-making skills and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to problem solve independently and work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and large teams with diverse members.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to adapt, respond, and prioritize in a rapidly changing health care environment and ability to successfully manage multiple competing demands.
  • Experience with new program/initiative development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ability to act as a change agent, providing direction to others and gaining their support.
  • Understanding of the research process and statistical analysis.
  • Strong leadership/mentoring skills and customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff across HFHS.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to condense and explain complex concepts in a manner that is easy for others to understand.
  • Strong computer skills with specific knowledge of SPSS, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of health care cultures including medical, nursing, and behavioral health.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, and extreme temperatures.
