Workforce Productivity & Benchmarking Consultant
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Master's degree in Business, Health Systems (Industrial) Engineering, Engineering Management or Operations Research preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in health care, finance, data analysis, and/or labor productivity management.
- Experience in hospital/health system labor productivity benchmarking including ability to identify, analyze, benchmark and create monitoring tools/reports that affect staffing productivity.
- Must be self-directed individual with ability to manage dotted-line reporting relationships, lead work of a complex nature that has broad ranging impact and supports improving financial performance of Henry Ford Health System.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and build relationships with executives and management to assess labor needs and design and implement metrics and perform analysis within selected productivity tools that meet or exceed specified objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience managing change. Broad understanding of financial planning cycles, including forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning.
