EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field, required.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance or Supply Chain preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, required.
  • Includes 5-7 years of management experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain with a minimum of 3 years leading and designing advanced diversity and/or strategic sourcing programs across large and complex organizations.
  • Extensive knowledge in developing system-wide/organizational strategies, processes and programs which support a service-focused, cost-effective, centralized model.
  • Skills in designing, administering and evaluating programs/practices to maximize efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and accounts payable management, including related accounting processes.
  • Ability to develop strategic/tactical plans to meet business objectives in a large healthcare system.
  • Proven ability to develop sound proposals and successfully implement project plans.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and to address difficult and issues.
  • Ability to create a superior service organization that will ensure quality and commitment to user satisfaction.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems creatively, to work within deadlines with a high attention to detail and to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of system interfaces (ERP, EMR, WMS, TMS, et al).
