This position is responsible for working with requesters to ensure compliance to the SCM (Supply Chain Management) Transparent Sourcing Policy. The SCM Analyst will work with end users to gather and/or review information for the building of Carts/Templates/Favorites. This position will also work with end users on the education/training of PeopleSoft, and inventory replenishment. Will be responsible for performance metrics, system validation and audit, thus creating compliance and standardization, creating cost savings. 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 
  • One to three years of experience in a professional level analytical role; healthcare and supply chain management experience preferred. 
  • Analytical ability to gather and interpret data from a variety of sources, as well as manage multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously. 
  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with regions end users. 
  • Composition and computer skills to translate data into comprehensive, meaningful reports using word-processing and spreadsheet software. 
  • Must possess ability to work confidentially with discretion and forethought. 
  • Must be able to remain calm and composed during confrontational situations. Cultivates working relationships that are positive, professional, and collaborative; e.g. constructive handling of disparate views, respectful treatment of others, displays confidence in own abilities, and is perceived as reliable team player. 
  • Supports workgroup goals, priorities, and direction. 
  • Mentors other team members, provides feedback to the peer evaluation process, and maintains a positive and professional attitude.
