Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Health Administration, Public Health/Public Policy, Public Planning, or related field. 

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of  relevant experience with broad-based and in-depth understanding of business experience including business operations, client relationship management, regulatory/compliance, finance/economics and other aspects such as process improvement/Lean.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management or supply chain management and ability to implement corporate-wide projects and initiatives of a highly complex nature.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and managing external/key customer relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with outreach to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with planning documents and/or high-level work plans.
  • Strong knowledge of key performance indicators as it relates to business plan performance (e.g., quality, customer satisfaction, growth, cost/profitability, etc.). 
  • Demonstrated experience with data interpretation, analysis, and reporting; working with clinical and/or financial data; modeling and forecasting; and key performance indicators as it relates to operational or financial performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communications including public presentation skills to upper management and/or potential clients.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office.

Experience Preferred:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in managing relationships or key processes, strategic planning, and or business development.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in being a project lead for key business process and or business relationship.

Skills and Abilities:

  • High energy; strong leadership, and ability to initiate and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must exhibit the ability to function in an autonomous manner in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with groups and work teams as often required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a creative, "out-of-the-box" thinking in order to develop original solutions to overcome current/potential roadblocks and meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
  • Highly professional and well-poised in communication with staff, executive leadership and other external parties; effective decision making; financial and technical skills; ability to introduce new ideas, processes, measures and tools to improve organizational planning and performance.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance matters affecting health care industry.
  • Skills in program or service line development, implementation and support.
  •  Advanced analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard metrics used in the health care industry.
  • Understanding of customer service, outreach and interventions.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment
  • Sedentary – Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for periods of time. 
  • Talking – Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
  • Hearing – Perceiving the nature of sounds
  • Travel – Frequent and may require overnight stay
