Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • Master’s degree, preferred 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in at least one of the following: data analysis of a highly complex nature, competitive intelligence, market research or survey research methods. Health Insurance or Healthcare industry preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with clinical and financial data interpretation (e.g., healthcare financial statements or clinical productivity data), analysis and reporting, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of key performance indicators as it relates to health plan or health system performance (e.g., quality, customer satisfaction, growth, cost/profitability, etc.), preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience with data interpretation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communications including public presentation skills to upper management and/or potential clients. 
  • Highly proficient in MS Office.
Skills and Abilities:

  • Must exhibit the ability to function in an autonomous manner in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with groups and work teams as often required.  
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a creative, "out-of-the-box" thinking in order to develop original solutions to overcome current/potential roadblocks and meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
  • Highly professional and well-poised in communication with staff, executive leadership and other external parties; effective decision making; financial and technical skills; ability to introduce new ideas, processes, measures and tools to improve organizational planning and performance. 
  • Knowledge of health care industry and managed care principles 
  • Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance matters affecting health care industry.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence applications, data, and tools.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard metrics used in the health care industry. 
  • Understanding of customer service, outreach and interventions.
