Revenue Cycle Transition Manager

Responsible for providing coordination and oversight of the Ascension revenue cycle transition for assigned functional areas including patient access, mid-cycle, CBO, and Revenue Integrity; collaborate with various leaders from Ascension, Henry Ford, and external vendors, as well as revenue cycle subject matter experts, to ensure a smooth corporate transition for both the Ascension acute and ambulatory revenue cycle operations into the Ascension/Henry Ford joint venture; oversee the resolution of transitional issues, achieving pre-conversion synergies, collaboration on playbooks, supporting system conversion efforts, partnering in the development of operational integration plans, overseeing legacy A/R rundowns, and ensuring operational integration and optimization; manage critical and dynamic revenue cycle initiatives and facilitate large multi-disciplinary groups of senior and executive leadership; coordinate with the Director of Revenue Cycle Transition, as well as various Ascension leaders, and Ascension outsource vendor leaders, to monitor performance and ensure performance meets or exceeds baseline levels; assist in the development and execution of transition playbook projects and coordinate with Ascension leaders to execute on strategic priorities during the transition; set priorities, identify gaps, and ensure a smooth transition and beyond; identify and resolve operational gaps or barriers; utilize and apply knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies, Power BI, Minitab, Design of Experiments, Predictive Modeling, Regression analysis, Business Analytics, Statistical analysis, Project Management, Report development, and Microsoft Suite of Tools to carry out assigned duties; identify and achieve synergies pre-Epic conversion; coordinate with Henry Ford and Ascension leaders to identify pre-Epic integration opportunities and assist with the development of an integration plan; coordinates Epic conversion planning, testing, and implementation; lead multiple complex projects and programs through entire life cycle, including complex cross-functional projects; and establish trusted partnerships through credibility, reliability, and clear communication to promote current and future collaboration, issue resolution, synergy realization and innovation.

Education: Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None
Experience: Six (6) months in the position above, as a Business Analyst, as an Operations Analyst, as a Lean Operations Analyst, as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must have included use of all the following: Lean Six Sigma Methodologies, Power BI, Minitab, Design of Experiments, Predictive Modeling, Regression analysis, Business Analytics, Statistical analysis, Project Management, Report development, and Microsoft Suite of Tools.
