Project Coordinator – Cardiovascular Team
Location: Henry Ford Hospital – Detroit Main Campus
Shift: Full Time - 40 Hours - Day Shift (8AM-4:30PM)
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the department’s physician leader(s) and administrator, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Cardiovascular team. This individual will be responsible for facilitating project work by providing direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of department projects and initiatives.
The coordinator will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved. This includes formulating process improvements, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, and providing strong organizational support. The role requires initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to solve problems independently while balancing multiple priorities.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree required
1–3 years of project management or coordination experience preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and consistently meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
