  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of substantive experience in underwriting, rate setting, cost analysis, statistics, budgeting, or other related financial areas.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of managerial/supervisory/senior level experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a health care or insurance environment.
  • Aptitude for checking work produced by others.
  • Analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Cooperative and tactful in dealing with others.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
  • Strong knowledge with Windows-based software, including spreadsheet (Excel) and
    word processing.
