Manager, Institute on Multicultural Health (Community Health, Equity & Wellness)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree in health administration; public health or other health field required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in health administration and/or public health management experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Supervisory/managerial experience.
- Successful track record of writing proposals, award applications and program evaluations.
- Established collaborative relationships with local, regional and national leaders.
- Experience leading policy change locally, regionally and nationally.
- Experience in strategic planning and process improvement.
- Experience with building matrix teams to collaborate and build programs, processes and/or procedures.
- Experience in public speaking and/or media work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Background in informatics tools and strategies desired.
- Experience in program development, implementation and management of programs including marketing strategies and development of educational and promotional material.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Power Point.
