Manager - Business Services - Post Acute Care - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
5 years of experience in managing revenue cycle, billing and accounts receivable departments required
5 years of experience in healthcare required including minimum of 3 years in Homecare, Hospice and/or Personal Care industry.
Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan.
Solid understanding and experience with billing systems, claim submission, cash posting, accounts receivables, payer requirements and industry trends is required.
Proficiency in manual and computerized billing procedures is required.
Accounting expertise to accurately coordinate HFAH Homecare, Hospice and Personal Care accounts receivables is required.
Experience serving in a leadership capacity with direct reports is required; serving in a leadership capacity in a large healthcare organization is preferred.
Ability to problem-solve with strong critical thinking skills is required.
Strong organizational and analytical skills are required.
Computer proficiency is required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and computer communication skills are required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as need to meet supervisory needs of the department is required.
Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Homecare, Hospice and/or Personal Care operations, governmental regulations and Joint Commission Standards preferred.
