Manager- AI Automation
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The AI Automation Manager, as key member of the Digital Enablement Hub, leads the enterprise AI Automation team. Managing a multidisciplinary team that includes AI Solution Architects and AI Engineers. This role is responsible for the design and delivery of advanced AI, machine learning (ML), and automation solutions across clinical, operational, and administrative domains. The Manager ensures alignment with organizational strategy, regulatory compliance, and best practices in AI/ML, automation, and data engineering. This leader collaborates with transformation consulting, IT, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to reimagine work at Henry Ford Health, driving automation maturity, value realization, and innovation within the health system.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in IT, with at least three (3) years in AI/automation leadership or management roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams responsible for AI/ML, automation development, and solution architecture.
- Strong background in AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure ML, TensorFlow, PyTorch), automation technologies (e.g., UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform), and API integrations.
- Experience with SDLC, agile methodologies, and enterprise IT environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in healthcare, Revenue Cycle, or ERP environments preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Relevant certifications in AI/ML (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate), RPA, automation, or project management (e.g., UiPath, Power Platform, PMP) are highly desirable.
