Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician
The Henry Ford Medical Group Division of Hospice and Palliative Medicine is seeking a physician for the role Senior Staff Physician in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. This position includes patient care, teaching, scholarly work, and clinical leadership within the Palliative Medicine Program at Henry Ford Hospital.

The physician will:
- Serve as an Attending Physician on the interdisciplinary inpatient Palliative Medicine Consultative Service at Henry Ford Hospital
- Supervise and train medical students, residents, fellows, and other interdisciplinary learners (serving as core clinical faculty for our ACGME- accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program with 2 fellows per year)
- Participate in scholarly activities in education, quality improvement, and research
Based on interest and skills the physician may:
- Serve as an attending physician in palliative medicine clinic, inpatient hospice, and/or community hospice
- Serve as medical director for an innovative home-based palliative care program
- Become a facilitator for the innovative communication skills education program, CLEAR Conversations
- Participate in the development/maintenance of hospital-based protocols in pain, symptom management, advance care planning, end-of-life care, and other areas related to palliative medicine
- Initial board certification in a primary specialty
- Board-certification or Board-eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Palliative Medicine Fellowship training or other comparable experience
