Financial Consultant (Financial Planning & Analysis Team - SRT) - Detroit
Must Haves (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years progressive experience, strong analytical capabilities, and proficiency in financial analysis in a Financial Planning & Analysis environment
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare finance
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):
- M.B.A.
- Strong initiative to improve and make processes smoother for all involved while maintaining objectives.
- 5+ years of experience of hospital operational finance
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, dynamic team environment while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of budget/planning software (Kaufman Hall Axiom preferred), benchmarking systems (iVantage preferred) and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation of complex topics to both financial and non-financial leadership.
What will make you stand out?
- Experience working with cross-functional departments (Clinical teams, Quality, Human Resources, etc.)
- Ability to grasp and apply new concepts quickly
- Experience in leading projects, coordinating efforts that involve other people and demonstrated leadership skills.
