EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
  • High school diploma. Associates degree in related field preferred. 
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience operating digital copy machines. 
  • Experience in the operation of modern graphic arts equipment used in copying, typesetting using current computer programs. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite. Good knowledge and interest in print production. 
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with Document Center staff and department users. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision within a team structure. 
  • Ability to organize/prioritize workload and possess quick decision making skills in order to withstand a high-pressure environment. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the operation of the department in order to provide the best possible solution to our customers. 
  • Must have good working knowledge of Desktop Publishing including networking, digital print solutions including technical solutions of print requirements. 
  • Must possess mechanical ability and knowledge required to operate all Document Center bindery and finishing equipment. 
  • It is imperative that troubleshooting skills are available and applied in order to overcome any technical difficulties that may occur.
