Dir-Clinical Talent Sourcing & Recruiting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and operationalize a strategic recruiting plan that will meet the hiring objectives.
- Ensure the talent acquisition team consistently executes the defined process through effective training and performance measurement.
- Partner with recruiting leadership to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Support the Vice President on budgetary accountability for the overall Talent Selection function.
- Gather, analyze, and inform stakeholders on key-performance indicators related to hiring activity and team performance.
- Communicate key insights and talent trends via formal presentations and management reporting.
- Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development: lead recruiters in proactively establishing a pipeline of diverse nursing talent, enabling positions to be filled in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement recruitment and social media branding campaigns.
- Develop and maintain contacts with national training programs, placement firms, current medical staff, current medical groups, hospital and practice administrators, vendors and other sources of applicants.
- Team Performance & Development Facilitate and develop training for recruiters, hiring managers, and teams on processes, tools and best practices.
- Implement training and onboarding programs to ensure the talent acquisition team is well prepared and performing successfully.
- Oversee communications platforms to keep team members and key stakeholders up to date on organizational, technology, and process changes related to talent acquisition.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing or related field required.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in full life cycle recruitment for a medium to large size, multi-site organization or related interviewing and recruiting support/networking preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated strong and engaging leadership experience in a fast paced environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of clinical recruiters, as well as a track record of developing recruiting processes that drive overall team effectiveness.
- Knowledge of emerging healthcare issues and trends and its impacts on recruiting and organizational readiness.
- Executive presence and proven experience developing and nurturing partnerships within complex organizations.
- Strong communication skills and proven experience managing others through change.
- Progressive experience developing and managing multispecialty nurse recruitment strategies for a complex health organization.
- Strong understanding of best practices and trends within talent acquisition and the ability to apply those practices to nurse recruiting.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced sourcing techniques, tools, and solutions related to nursing.
- Outstanding project management skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop sound recommendations and solutions.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, conflict management, and decision-making skills; ability to engage, build relationships, and influence others at multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with stakeholders in a one-on-one, or in a large group setting.
- Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, candidate assessment and selection methodologies.
