EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience designing and coordinating well-being and health promotion programs or their equivalent, preferably worksite programs.
  • At least one year of public speaking experience.

 Skills and Abilities:

  • Initiate and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Design and implement programs.
  • Highly organized.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with groups and teams.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry, preferably managed care.
  • Knowledge of health education, health promotion and worksite health promotion trends and issues.
  • Understanding of community resources and opportunities.
  • Some lifting of up to 10-20 pounds.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Valid driver’s license required.

o   Travel to and from event locations - mostly in Southeast Michigan, but occasionally to Western Michigan

o   Periodic driving required
