The Division of Vascular Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital is seeking an academic faculty member to join its practice. Since pioneering the development of vascular surgery more than 40 years ago, the Henry Ford Medical Group has remained in the forefront of advances in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of vascular diseases. The Division supports a very busy tertiary/quaternary clinical practice with large number of both open and endoluminal procedures. Staff members are expected to participate in teaching medical students, surgical residents and vascular fellows.

 

Candidates must have completed a three year U.S. residency and an ACGME approved fellowship in vascular surgery and be certified in vascular surgery within three years of eligibility and meet all requirements to be licensed in the state of Michigan.

 

Full academic appointments at Wayne State University, School of Medicine are available for those who qualify. The Division provides state of the art vascular care at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit’s New Center area as well as the new award-winning Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital northwest of Detroit. Henry Ford Hospital is a tertiary/quaternary care referral center, with an ACS-approved level 1 trauma center, serving all of Michigan, northern Ohio, and parts of Canada.
