GENERAL SUMMARY:

Manage all components of the Trauma Registry, including data collection, data entry, and data retrieval/statistical conversion.

  • Review trauma admission records for data collection and abstraction.
  • Analyze all records for quality assurance trauma standards recommended by governing bodies and as stipulated by regulatory groups.
  • Perform the abstraction, coding (ICD) and application of all trauma data points in the registry taken primarily from inpatient trauma cases.
  • Apprise program coordinator of all relevant trauma audit filter inconsistencies via periodic quality assurance reports. Produce various other quality assurance reports as directed.

Schedule:  Full Time, Days, 40 hrs., 0700-1530

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  •  Preferred Credential(s):
    • Registrar specializing in Trauma Registry.

Education:

  •  High School diploma equivalency and 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
