RN - Contingent - Unit Base - Addiction & Recovery Center - Henry Ford Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of science in Nursing (BSN) program within three (3) years of hire
- Completion of Bachelor of science in Nursing (BSN) within five (5) years of hire
Minimum Work Experience
- Five (5) year employment history
- Experience with substance abuse services
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Michigan Nursing license
- Current BLS or obtained during patient care orientation
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Critical thinking skills and judgment necessary to assign and direct others in the delivery of patient care.
- Ability to assume full assignment for the assigned area
- Ability to work a minimum number of shifts and commit in advance to designated dates
- Ability to work a minimum of 2 vacant shifts per month, to include one summer and one winter holiday, 4 weekend shifts per year and scheduled as needed by the department
- Knowledge of the care of adult and geriatric patients.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
