What You’ll Do
- Deliver and coordinate high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Use the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient education
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Identify variances in patient goals and collaborate on effective solutions
- Support patients and families through education, comfort, and advocacy
Schedule & Setting
- Medical-Surgical Unit
- 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Henry Ford Macomb – Warren, MI

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- BSN preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Clinical knowledge and analytical ability to develop effective nursing care plans
- Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital staff
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE REQUIRED
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (health care provider level)
