Job Summary
HFI is seeking motivated and forward-thinking interns to join our team for a fall internship. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare innovation, business development, and commercialization. Interns will work closely with HFI leaders, engaging in projects that support our mission to transform patient care through cutting-edge solutions.
This internship is ideal for students with a strong interest in healthcare, engineering, entrepreneurship, technology, and business strategy. We are seeking students from who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute to the success of our collaborative initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in research, analysis, and development of new healthcare technologies and business strategies.
- Support project management efforts by tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct market research to evaluate potential opportunities for commercialization.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and pitch materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with physicians, business leaders, and researchers on innovation initiatives.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and insights.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for innovation programs and events.
- If in design, assist in sketching, building and prototyping ideas
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at a university with a background in business, healthcare, engineering, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Interest in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, or commercialization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- If in design, ability to sketch, have an introductory knowledge of CAD, 3D printing and adobe products such as Illustrator and Photoshop.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
