- Under minimal supervision, reviews and screens the recommended admission cases at Henry Ford Health Network emergency rooms.
- Combines clinical and regulatory knowledge and skill to reduce significant financial risk and exposure due to inappropriate admissions.
- Collaborates with ER physicians, physician advisors, attending physicians, social workers and third party payers relating to initial screening reviews.
- Through continuous assessments, problem identification and education, facilitates the quality of health care delivery in the most cost effective manner.
• Position: Contingent ( 20 hours or less)
• Shift: Midnight Shifts
- • Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
- MUST LIVE WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF HFH HUB
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BSN required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience required.
- Previous utilization management or case management experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse with a valid, unrestricted State of Michigan license.
