Psych Tech II (Part-time/Day Shift) - Addiction & Recovery Center - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in a social science or health related field OR Licensed Practical Nurse.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively run educational groups
Skilled in de-escalation and conflict resolution.
Good impulse control to maintain effective communication skills with challenging populations.
Knowledge about the care of adult behavioral health and/or substance abuse patients.
Ability to be organized, detail oriented, and adhere to instructions when implementing job tasks.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current BLS certification
CADC Development Plan through MCBAP must be started within 30 days of hire date and Formal CADC Certification obtained within 3 years.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six (6) months worked in Behavioral Health Service.
Prior experience in performing basic nursing tasks is desirable.
