Project Manager
Responsible for planning, performing, and managing project work aimed at improving operating systems and functions within HFHS; responsible for budgeting and allocating analyst resources for projects; prepare reports and recommendations for management; coordinate project implementation activities and support; supervise the tasks of support staff relative to assigned projects; manage complex projects involving reviews of Hospital/Medical Group areas on a project basis, and act as a project lead for individual or multi-analyst projects; prepare project plans including scheduling, costs, personnel matters, and other operational concerns; develop and refine project scope, objectives and work plans to suit diverse settings; recommend and provide input for budget preparation; guide day-to-day activities of the project team; facilitate and lead meetings and teams to complete assigned projects; supply periodic project updates to hospital administration and prepare project management reports; coordinate written and verbal presentations of project findings, conclusions, and recommendations with management that are suitable for diverse settings; conceptualize ideas, develop work plans, and plan execution into project formats; develop and determine project priorities and monitor the status of projects on an ongoing basis; conduct interviews with users and perform various data gathering techniques; foster teamwork with all involved parties to ensure efficient project operations; document current systems and operations to identify areas for improvement; analyze client systems, procedures, and operations to identify opportunities for improvement; identify and test alternative methods and procedures to determine associated costs and benefits; define requirements to modify existing procedures or develop a new system; utilize and apply knowledge of risk management, business operations enhancements, budget preparation, resource allocation, project planning activities, project management reports, data gathering/analysis, policy reviews/recommendations, and stakeholder project presentations to perform assigned duties; assist in the implementation of revised or new methods; guide support staff in performing operations analysis and decision support activities; establish work schedules and priorities to ensure that workflow is controlled; and identify internal staff development needs and opportunities for improvement or enhancement of staff skills.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Operations, Human Resource Management, Accounting, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Governance Project Manager, as a Project Coordinator, as a Recoveries Officer, as a Team Leader, as an Assistant Vice President, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: risk management, business operations enhancements, budget preparation, resource allocation, project planning activities, project management reports, data gathering/analysis, policy reviews/recommendations, and stakeholder project presentations.
