General Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager with a strong technical background and robust skills leading complex projects to join our dynamic, collaborative team. This role is uniquely designed for an individual who not only possesses deep technical expertise in healthcare data infrastructure, healthcare data platforms, and analytic workflows, but also excels in managing complex projects that cross multiple business units.
This role serves as a critical bridge between analytics teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners to ensure analytic platforms, data assets, and outputs are optimized to support value‑based care analytics, strategy, performance improvement, and decision‑making.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle associated with implementing new vendor platforms. This includes ongoing optimization, standardization, and enablement of analytic capabilities, engaging key stakeholders, ensuring the timely completion of tasks, and providing analytic and operational insights to drive successful system use, data integration, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Subject Matter Expertise
Determine stakeholder needs to develop system requirements and build out the system accordingly.
Define data dimensions, access requirements, and data transmission protocols.
Document decisions impacting the system build and the rationale behind those decisions.
Support development of metrics and analyses to validate and compare data between systems.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the system architecture and proposed solutions align with business requirements and industry standards.
Stakeholder Management
Engage stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and data infrastructure.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and analytic inquiries and project-related communications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and external/internal stakeholders.
Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Project Management
Review and track technical issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity, coordinating with cross-functional teams to timely resolution.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Support project meetings and monitor project progress/milestones.
Assist development of team infrastructure and reporting processes on work completion value added activities to Populance leadership.
Track completion of work and staff capacity to maximize team efficiency and alignment of identified priorities.
Analytics Support
Ensure data integrity and facilitate completion of user acceptance testing during implementation of non-clinical platform applications as well as application optimization.
Support establishment of analytics standards grounded in industry leading practices/methodologies and system-defined strategic priorities.
Enable optimization of analytics platforms and tools post‑implementation to improve usability, performance, and efficiency.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role associated data management and leading complex projects.
Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Strong technical background with expertise in system architecture, data integration, and analytics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Preferred Skills:
Experience with healthcare data systems and analytics.
Knowledge of MedInsight, Arcadia or similar data analysis platforms.
Familiarity with payer reports and healthcare metrics.
Experience in documenting technical specifications and system requirements.
