Minimum Education
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of three 3 years office management experience, including one 1 year in a health care organization
Supervision of a minimum of five 5 employees in a clinical setting

Required Licenses Certifications
Active, valid RN license in the state of Michigan

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Human resource, organizational and clinical office policies, procedures and systems
Computer systems and applications
Fiscal management
Medical practices, terminology and reimbursement policies
Grammar, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure to answer correspondence and prepare reports
Skills in
Planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
Evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
Operating a variety of office equipment and computer programs
Abilities to
Communicate clearly and effectively
Exercise initiative, problem-solving and decision-making
Apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems
Interact and work effectively with patients, staff, public, providers and departments within Allegiance Health
Establish priorities and coordinate work activities among multiple requests
