Plant Operating Engineer - Contingent - Dearborn Fairlane
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma. Four to Five (4-5) years of experience operating a large complex central facility plant with special emphasis in operating under constantly changing loads.
- Must have a working knowledge of advanced HVAC technologies and be able to use a computerized building automation system operator workstation.
- Must be able to efficiently operate a wide range of mechanical systems, perform chemical tests on cooling towers and heating and cooling loops.
- Must have some plumbing and electrical repair knowledge
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Requires a First Class Refrigeration Operator License, a minimum of a High Pressure Boiler license and up and State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources 5B Microbial Pest Mgt Certification.
- Must have City of Dearborn First Class Refrigeration License
- Must have City of Dearborn High Pressure Boiler License
