Schedule: Full Time Day Shifts
In this role, you will collaborate with our Prescription Intake team within the Henry Ford Health Pharmacy Advantage Department.
Prescription Intake Team: The Pharmacy Benefits Specialist will provide excellent patient focused services. The primary responsibilities include entering new prescriptions in Pharmacy system, adjudicating claims, reaching out to patients for gathering all pertinent information and providers if there are clarifications to ensure timely care is provided for a positive patient experience. This Position is an office setting closed door to public, requires strong computer skills and pleasant phone skills. We are looking for highly motivated and career conscious individuals who are keen to grow in career in a rapidly growing department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Requires a High school diploma or G.E.D. Associates degree preferred
- Requires State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License.
- Requires a minimum of two years of previous pharmacy technician experience.
- Previous experience as a specialty pharmacy technician preferred.
