Work Schedule & Logistics
Shift Hours / Days Required:
Contingent position with no set schedule
Coverage provided for vacations, sick calls, or additional staffing needs
Hours and days vary based on operational requirements
Travel Requirements: No regular travel required /Opportunities may arise to pick up hours at various DTE Medical Department locations
Overnight Stay: Not required, but optional overnight stays may be considered for long-distance travel (with advanced notice)
Primary Work Location: DTE Headquarters – 1 Energy Plaza, Detroit, MI 48226
Potential Travel Locations: Primarily within the Detroit Metro area / Additional DTE locations throughout Michigan as needed
Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, mileage is reimbursed for approved travel
Use of Personal Vehicle: Yes, a personal vehicle is required / Company vehicle is not provided
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to corporate client locations to perform occupational health services
Conduct and document OSHA-mandated health screenings
Administer vaccinations and TB tests
Calibrate and document maintenance of medical equipment
Perform and document occupational and non-occupational illness/injury assessments
Support administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Forms, and Excel
Document services using EPIC and Cority electronic health record systems (training provided)
Deliver excellent customer service and represent Henry Ford Health professionally
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited Paramedic Program
Active Michigan Paramedic License in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Previous experience in pre-hospital emergency care
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Forms
Ability to document in EPIC and Cority (training provided)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Comfort working in mobile, non-clinic settings
Willingness to travel across Metro Detroit and occasionally across Michigan (advance schedule provided)
Eagerness to learn new skills in occupational health and OSHA testing
Strong focus on teamwork, communication, and client satisfaction
