Nursing Home Administrator (Hospice) / Contingent / Days - Jackson
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in health care management or related field.
- Minimum Work Experience
- Minimum of five years as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- Minimum of (3) year experience in healthcare facility, home health or hospice
- Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Must have proven track record of annual survey compliance results at State and Federal Average Level.
- Ability to problem-solve with effective verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Critical thinking skills, advanced assessment skills and expertise in care of adult and geriatric patients and caregivers is required.
- Teaching and public speaking ability is required.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and computer communication skills is required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet supervisory needs of the department is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and Joint Commission Standards preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Nursing Home Administrator Licensure required.
