Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Hospitalist Macomb Full Time Midnights
- Provides inpatient medical care, with the supervision but not necessarily the presence of a qualified physician member of the medical staff, e.g.: Patient history, physical examination, ordering and interpreting tests, making diagnoses and instituting treatment plans.
- Provides inpatient consultation on internal medicine conditions and may unction as a critical team member on the hospital code team.
- In conjunction with the supervising physician conducts admission evaluations and assessments and provides inpatient medical coverage for community physicians as necessary.
- May be required to take call.
- Specific procedures within the Department of Medicine are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.
- 12hrs/ 13 shifts per month 6p-6a
- Must be a Masters prepared Registered Nurse who has graduated and taken the board certification within their chosen specialty -OR- Requires a Bachelor's Degree; completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program; licensure as a Physician Assistant.
