Nurse Aide - Extended Care / Private Duty - Macomb (Contingent)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Requires at least one year of recent hospital, nursing home or home health care experience.
- Ability to pass the NLN Skills Assessment Test with a score of 75% or better.
- Ability to pass Technical Skills Checklist. Completion of a certified nurse aide training program is preferred with one year of recent hospital, nursing home, or home health care experience.
- BCLS certification is preferred.
- Must possess a current State of Michigan drivers license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Must have access to reliable transportation and a telephone.
- Must be able to transport or move client; carry, bend stoop, climb or otherwise be physically active in the course of job duties.
