Associate’s Degree in Applied Science

Required Licenses/Certifications:
Must become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear)
or
Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 1 year of date of hire into the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position.
- Registry must be taken at first available date after hire.
- Three Consecutive opportunities (from date for hire) for exam will be allowed.
- Failure to become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, within 1 year of date of hire into the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position, will result in termination from the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem-solve
Recognizes differences in care and imaging of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups
Training in IV administration, computer applications, cardiac acquisition, general imaging and radiation safety. Work Assignments include computer processing, image acquisition, invasive procedures and cardiac work
Role model the Standards of Service Excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
