GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Network Contract Manager supports the Director of System Network Contracting in managing and executing complex provider contracting initiatives across a variety of healthcare partners, including physician organizations, multi-specialty groups, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), Physician Hospital Organizations (PHOs), and individual providers.

This role is responsible for ensuring provider contracts and onboarding activities follow system-wide intake, due diligence, and compliance processes while maintaining industry best practices. The Network Contract Manager helps support contract modeling and alignment across different provider partnership structures and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in physician compensation models for private providers and physician groups, along with strong project management and analytical skills. This position manages a designated contract portfolio that may be organized by specialty, region, or statewide initiatives.

Working with a high level of autonomy, the Network Contract Manager oversees day-to-day portfolio activities, including:

  • Tracking contract and deal progress
  • Monitoring milestones and timelines
  • Identifying risks and opportunities
  • Preparing SBAR communications and leadership updates
  • Coordinating meetings and cross-functional collaboration
  • Supporting the development and execution of provider partnership models

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare contracting, financial analysis, provider relations, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including Stark Law and fair market value principles, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
