Manager-Research Operations - Electrophysiology - Full time
GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Under the leadership of a Vice President, Director, Group Practice Director and/or Physician Leader, the individual in this position is responsible for and requires the greatest allocation of time focused on activities associated with research operations.
- Assists their leadership with the implementation of short- and long-term plans for the department and or research functional area.
- Assists with the development of financial and operational planning and analysis including budgets and pro forma business plan analysis.
- May represent the Department, Specialty, and/or Business Unit on various internal and external committees.
- Represents Henry Ford Health via community involvement.
- Supports the Business Unit by implementing various initiatives.
- This position will focus approximately 80% on daily operations and 20% on strategy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business, Bioscientific/Clinical/Functional area, or related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience leading a project or team.
- Research experience and leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in writing and orally to support, direct, and work with employees, leadership, physicians, and various external audiences.
- Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets knowledge.
