Manager Radiology/Medical Imaging
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-care related field or equivalent combination of education & radiology experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-care related field preferred
- Current certification in at least one of the Radiology Technology disciplines required
- Multiple certifications preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiology required in order to gain full knowledge of tests and procedures, review protocol and work of radiology personnel.
- Minimum of 2 years radiology leadership experience required
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: ABILITIES/SKILLS:
- Interpersonal and communication, both verbal and written, skills necessary in order to effectively exchange information with physicians and other hospital personnel.
- Analytical skills necessary to prepare departmental reports and analyses, recommend policies and procedures, identify problems, work independently, develop systems appropriate for the Radiology department and effectively evaluate Radiology personnel.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for up to 20% of work time.
- Climb or balance, reach with hands, and have manual dexterity and mobility needed for 30%-60% of work time.
- Ability to talk or hear.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects to ten pounds up to 20% of work time.
- Near Acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
- Depth Perception: ability to judge distance and space relationships.
- Field of Vision: ability to see peripherally.
- Accommodation: ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus.
- Color Vision: ability to distinguish and identify different colors.
