EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelors Degree is required. (A degree in industrial or related engineering, business administration, healthcare administration with quality or operations improvement emphasis is highly preferred)
- Masters degree in one of above fields is preferred.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience, with specific emphasis in: lean transformation, continuous improvement
- Strongly prefer candidates with a healthcare background.
- Knowledge and understanding of and demonstrated experience applying continuous quality/service level improvement concepts.
- In-depth understanding of human relations, group dynamics, change management, and improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of management principles and techniques, problem-solving methodologies and analytic techniques.
- Ability to manage large, complex assignments simultaneously with potentially conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Must be capable of consulting and working collaboratively with a variety of individuals.
- Ability to lead/provoke the thinking of senior level administrators.
- Strong leadership/mentoring skills applicable to both performance improvement staff and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff across the System.
- Strong analytical/technical, facilitative, and process improvement skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to teach complex technical/analytical concepts to non-performance improvement managers and staff.
- Strong diplomacy and collaboration skills.
