EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience leading or filling the role of technical lead for a development project that incorporated user design and experience deliverables
  • 3 years of experience in a senior level development role with supervisory experience required
  • 5 years of experience in designing or developing applications or prototypes with JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, Axure or Photoshop, or similar design tools required
  • 5 years of experience in project management or business analysis required
  • 1-2 years of experience in analyzing and documenting custom workflows is required
  • 1 year of experience with quality assurance processes and unit and regression testing frameworks required
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role on a major project or change management effort, leading a diverse team of business partners, customers, and technical team members required.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and managing the development of complex UIs and workflows that span technology infrastructures preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of user experience products such as UX roadmap, personas and experience maps, focus groups, user segmentation workshops, etc.
  • SharePoint administration and/or development experience preferred.
  • ITIL service delivery knowledge and concepts preferred.
  • Formal training in Agile fundamentals and Scrum framework preferred
  • Certification in usability or human factors a plus
  • Must be able to handle difficult and sensitive situations using sound, independent judgment within general policy and legal guidelines.
  • Ability to assign, guide, and monitor the work of others regardless of the reporting relationship (direct, project, indirect) including business partners and customers.
  • Demonstrated passion for working with people and building credible relationships with business partners and peers.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent Strategic Thinker; possess ability to provide thoughtful leadership to develop creative solutions for complex business and technical problems.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills. Able to develop and present complex material effectively to a variety of audiences – technical and non-technical, staff, management and leadership.
