EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information security with focus on medical device security.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of management experience leading technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Medigate platform deployment and management.
    • Claroty healthcare security implementation.
    • Xdome security platform operations.
    • Clinical network segmentation.
    • Medical device vulnerability management

Leadership and Management Expertise:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities.
  • Experience with budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Risk management and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Clinical environment leadership experience.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of medical device security principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical network architectures.
  • Expertise in IoT security frameworks and controls.
  • Strong background in vulnerability management.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of FDA security guidance and standards.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and operations.

Platform Experience:

  • Medical Device Security Platforms
    • Medigate platform deployment and management
    • Claroty healthcare security suite
    • Xdome security platform
    • Network access control systems
    • Vulnerability management tools

Clinical Systems:

  • Asset management solutions
  • Clinical engineering systems
  • Healthcare technology management platforms
  • Network monitoring tools
  • SIEM integration for healthcare

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • At least two of the following certifications are required:
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • HCISPP (HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner)
    • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
    • Medical Device Security certification
    • Clinical engineering certification (preferred).
