EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an additional three (3) years of relevant experience in either gift processing or fundraising information services may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience preferably working in a nonprofit fundraising organization is required.
  • Strong data management experience, knowledge of CASE and IRS guidelines on processing gifts and pledges, and experience with gift processing or database administration operations. 
  • Must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook and Publisher), Adobe Acrobat Pro and other database and report writing programs.  
  •  Knowledge of relational databases and fundraising software programs required; Experience with Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge donor database preferred. 
  • Knowledge of donation website platforms is required; Experience with Luminate Online or Blackbaud Net Community is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and basic accounting skills required. 
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to compose business correspondence and create complex and conditional mail merge documents required; some design aptitude or experience preferred.
  •  Must demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
  •  Effective communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal skills and customer service skills required to successfully conduct business with a diverse group of internal and external customers.
  •  Ability to exercise excellent judgment, discretion and sensitivity in handling high-profile/confidential information. 
  •  Must be organized and able to initiate and implement process management initiatives.
