EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
1 year training program
2 years of previous locksmith experience is required to develop a background in the variety of locking devices utilized throughout the Hospital system.
- Inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination.
- Cuts new or duplicate keys, using key cutting machine.
- Moves lock pick in cylinder to open door locks without keys.
- Opens safe locks by drilling.
- May keep records of company locks and keys.
- Services electronic access control card readers, electric strikes, diagnosis electronic access control device malfunctions
