Lead-Guest Services
Schedule: Full-Time, 8am-4:30pm; occasional weekends may be needed for special events
Location: Rochester, MI
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in guest, volunteer, and/or retail services.
Responsibilities:
- Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associate
- Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
- Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
- Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
- Assists the leadership in developing annual goals & objectives for the department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Note: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of previous leadership preferred
- 2-3 years of Customer Services experience preferred
- Previous experience working with Volunteer Services
- Strong computer experience working with PeopleSoft system and Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred
- Ability to be flexible to travel between 3 hospital locations (based on needs).
- Ability to travel to schools to recruit volunteers.
