Join Henry Ford Health as a Lead Front Desk Assistant at our Motor City Orthopedics Center. In this role, you will support the front desk team, oversee daily operations, and ensure a smooth patient experience.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Schedule: Full Time Days
Location: Primary location Novi, occasional travel to other sites.
Responsible for organizing, coordinating and maintaining clerical functions for functional area or department.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:
- Performs all secretarial responsibilities, such as telephone coverage, typing, filing, and duplicating correspondence and mail distribution and maintaining various reports.
- Interprets and communicates all changes and updates relating to department procedures and other specific office functions. May be responsible for scheduling, registration and billing.
- Assists in developing and makes recommendations regarding general office procedures to provide necessary clerical assistance for specific office/department. May participate in the selection, orientation, development, education and scheduling of clerical and ancillary support staff.
Assumes responsibility with the office/department management for keeping office operating costs within established budgetary constraints.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience
- 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.
