General Summary:

  • Under the direction and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager (NM), provides clinical leadership and supervisory support to assigned unit.
  • Works in partnership with the Nurse Manager, Medical Director, the health care team, and management to ensure a quality practice setting that supports professional nursing practice and quality patient care.
  • Using nursing process, interacts directly with patients/family members.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's in Health Related field preferred.
  • Requires at least 12 months of R.N. experience providing nursing care, including 3 months of R.N. experience providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
  • Current license to practice in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
