GME/Primary Care Physician Opportunity – Henry Ford Jackson Hospital
Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking a Core Faculty Provider for the Henry Ford Jackson Family Medicine Residency and a Family Medicine Physician to provide clinical care at our E. Michigan Primary Care Clinic.
About the Opportunity:
- .6 FTE Core Faculty Role: Guide and mentor Family Medicine residents, oversee clinical training, and contribute to curriculum development.
- .4 FTE Primary Care Role: Deliver high-quality patient care in our well-established E. Michigan primary care clinic serving the Jackson community.
Faculty Responsibilities/Expectations would include but not limited to the ability to:
- demonstrate commitment to the delivery of safe, equitable, high-quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care
- demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents, including devoting sufficient time to the educational program to fulfill their supervisory and teaching responsibilities
- administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents
- regularly participates in organized clinical discussions, rounds, journal clubs, and conferences
- Regularly attends faculty meetings
- Participates in resident evaluations
- Participates in annual program evaluation and annual faculty ACGME survey
- Regularly participates in resident and faculty recruitment
- Demonstrate scholarship through engaging in scholarly activity projects independently and/or in partnership with resident physicians
- pursue faculty development designed to enhance their skills at least annually

Criteria:
Must be US BC
Minimum 3 years of family medicine / core faculty experience preferred.
