Education Specialist
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; enrollment in Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) program preferred.
- Equivalent of 4 years clinical experience and 1 year of teaching experience required.
- Demonstrated competence in development of quality teaching plans.
- Demonstration of leadership, good communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills, flexibility, self-directiveness, and initiative required.
- Considerable amounts of computer work.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Software (Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with use of Internet.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Certification in area of specialty preferred.
- BLS Instructor certification preferred.
- Current Michigan RN licensure required.
