Data Analyst - Full Time - Detroit/Days
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor’s Degree required with preferred major in Biological Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Medical or Healthcare Informatics, Information Management, Data Sciences, or Statistics.
2. Minimum two years working experience as a data analyst or business analyst required. Having that experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
3. Technical experience with data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques required.
4. Experience with Cache preferred.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required.
6. Experience in writing data queries, reporting, and presenting findings required.
7. Experience using SQL preferred.
8. Background and experience with reporting packages and query tools (Crystal Reports, Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), simple application programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) preferred.
9. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS, SPSS, etc.) preferred
10. Written and oral communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers and team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Typically works in a normal office environment with frequent visits to clinical and
anatomic pathology laboratories. - Working hours will vary based on projects, support needs, and on-call
responsibilities.
