Communications and Community Relations Specialist - Population Health - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Community Organizing or related field or a commensurate combination of education and related experience
- Work experience in a public relations or related capacity within a non-profit or grassroots organization
- Experience handling both internal and external communication through a variety of formal and informal methods
- Expertise in key concepts and methods that ensure ability to communicate with cultural sensitivity and awareness of biases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competency with desktop publishing tools and online communications tools Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience creating and presenting content to a variety of target audiences effectively
- Demonstrated competency using workflow/information management tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, Basecamp, asana, Quick Base, etc.)
